I am trying out for the first time the WordPress app for the iPad 2 and I I have to say that it rocks! It is very useful, practical, with no frills. I suggest anyone using an iPad to download it and try it. I have still to find out how to insert images in the single post, does anybody know how?

P.S. I have found out how. Just after saving the post it is possible to click ‘edit’ and insert images an videos.

go to google.com
enable the keyboard by clicking the icon (it should turn red)
hit the following keys: EUET – QUQT – EUET – QUQTI; EUET – WUWT – QUQT
mind that the last notes are missing.

Feed RSS icon in Firefox4

To be honest I really do not know the reason why the RSS icon has been dismissed in Firefox4.

However here it is the solution to make the RSS icon come back.

Just right click on the address bar (over the arrow) and choose ‘customize’
drag the RSS icon close the address bar

Other possibility: you may download and install this add-on (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/rss-icon/). I just prefer the first solution.

Firefox4 and delicious

For those who cannot live without the fantastic Delicious addon for Firefox here it is a trick to enable it in Firefox4-Firefox5.

In FF browse to help>troubleshooting information
click the button ‘show in finder’ (profile directory)
browse the folder “extensions\{2fa4ed95-0317-4c6a-a74c-5f3e3912c1f9}”
open the file install.rdf and change the string at line 8 em:maxVersion=”4.0b3pre” to em:maxVersion=”4.0″
Save and restart Firefox4-Firefox5

I’m using Firefox4 on a mac and it works.

02.05.11 – update
this fix works in Firefox 4.01 as well – just change the string at line 8 in em:maxVersion=”4.01″

27.06.11 – update
this fix works in Firefox 5 as well – just change the string at line 8 in em:maxVersion=”5.00″
